Yes. The steam sterilization cycle eliminates 99.9% of bacteria, and the detergent tablets are baby-safe and designed specifically for feeding items. It works with standard and wide-neck bottles as well as wearable and standard pump parts.
There are four modes: Rapid wash (19 minutes) for a quick clean between feeds, Deep wash (29 minutes) for a more thorough cycle, Sterilization and drying (55 minutes) for the full wash-to-dry process, and Storage mode which keeps cleaned items sealed and hygienic for up to 72 hours.
The Kota uses a direct drainage hose rather than a removable waste tank. You connect the hose to drain into a sink, which means no waste tank to empty and less odor between uses.
After a completed cycle, the sealed storage compartment keeps items clean and hygienic for up to 72 hours. You can run an evening cycle and have fresh bottles ready throughout the following day without re-washing.
The Kota is compatible with nipples, pacifiers, teethers, sippy cups, and wearable and standard pump parts, making it useful well beyond the newborn bottle stage.
