The Kota uses a direct drainage hose rather than a removable waste tank. You connect the hose to drain into a sink, which means no waste tank to empty and less odor between uses.
After a completed cycle, the sealed storage compartment keeps items clean and hygienic for up to 72 hours. You can run an evening cycle and have fresh bottles ready throughout the following day without re-washing.
